Twosome
Yes. Yes. and Yes! Belle was front, back, and center of the vlog. What struck us the most is that we saw private moments of them going around the US to enjoy themselves. The first one was in a golf course. Donny enjoyed a morning at the greens. Belle did try to support him and even took vids, but had to opt out because she felt cold. Their next vid together is them going to Target to shop presumably for pasalubongs for loved ones. Boy, the cart was full.
What we learned from these outings?
Belle
easily gets cold, and would often forget to bring her jacket. Probably why most
times, even here in the Philippines, we see her using Donny’s jacket, blazer,
or sweatshirts. I know you’ve seen this at one point or another. Belle also would
not have mind watching Donny enjoy a sport he likes. The different things they
did outside of the show and preparing for it showed us that they took turns
doing what they liked. We assume that going to Target is Belle’s thing since
she even gushed over it on her IG. One Engagement Patroler noted that they seem
to have gone to Target twice judging from what Belle is wearing: the IG pic has
her in a dress while the vlog shows us she was wearing black tee and denim. We can
sense also that they consider each other in making decisions as to where to go
and what to do.
Why this is heart?
Donny did
not have to share these private moments. They are not part of work, but he did
give a glimpse of how they goof around together. It is evident that they get
each other and enjoy each other’s company. That is probably why we can’t get
enough of these two. They bring something light to the table. We’d like Donny
to know that we appreciate this vlog so much. It is not just a video, it is
sharing a piece of himself to the fans.
Cruising with the Group
Donny took us backstage and even in their hotel room. He gave us a glimpse of how artists prepare to be on stage like Charlie who’d rehearse in front of the mirror or Edward blow drying his hair. And all the other chaos that is the backstage and the tour bus. We see their camaraderie with the rest of the group like Belle’s friendship with Charlie. While the two do enjoyed going to places as a duo, they have also spent some time with everyone in the group.

their lives…
In the bus,
Donny and Belle were singing together while travelling. Cute, just cute. It is
nice to have someone who can share things that you like to do in life. Someone
to do random stuff with. They are, indeed, playing good music together. They do
sound good, and their voices do seem to blend well. Nothing much to say, but we are glad they
found one another to sing a song or two in their lull times.
It was also
refreshing to just see them break in to a dance routine when they heard “He’s
into Her theme being played while they were on the float, looking so carefree.
They really seemed to have enjoyed their time. In fact, they seemed to be so into the moment one the float that a SF local noticed them, and we featured that in a blog post.

Her
Attention to Detail:
In the
consulate, Donny asked Belle which Filipiniana she prefers, and she did not
just pick one, she went into detail as to the reason for her choice. Showing us
that she did not just consider the design but also how it will match her skin
tone and the gold designs and the black dress underneath. This is another layer
in Belle’s personality that we can appreciate; she can be detail-oriented and
won’t give you just a one-word answer. She would try to explain her preference
making you realize that she did think things through.

Looks like
Belle is a packing genius. She was able to fit in their purchases in two
suitcases for their convenience. Belle probably put being an ate to good use
taking charge of things like helping her younger siblings pack for their
travels and even fixing their school supplies inside the bag. We have seen the
enormous pile of stuff on the cart that Donny was pushing around the store.
Supportive
Belle:
There are
moments when Belle holds the cam for Donny to help him vlog. The noticeable
ones are in the golf course and in the hotel lobby as they goofed around with Carlo
Aquino and Kyle Echarri.

This vid
reveals another layer to Donny who tries to introduce those people that he has
been meeting in the golf course, those who have been with them as part of the
security detail, the Star Magic staff keeping everything together, and Mickey
Perz, a PBB alum turned choreographer for them. Shows you how he tries to
include everyone including their fellow artists in his vlog. He also tries to
show us around. He showed a bit of the Consulate especially in what looks like
the conference room for pitching businesses which is called Anilao Room named
after the diving site that enthusiasts frequent for a quick one. He also showed
Warfield especially the intricate designs in the ceiling and the signatures of
those who have performed there. Donny, the vlogger, tries to give the viewers
an experience of what he himself can see and what has caught his attention.
Donny likes
wearing sunglasses and caps. That is evident in the vlog. He seems to have
quite a collection. I, at least, saw three different sunglasses. How many did you
see?

Overall feels and impression:
There were
three stops in the US tour. We, all of course, wonder why the NY leg was not
included in the Vlog. He did say he has not started taking vids before the San
Francisco stop. He probably was enjoying the NY trip or vids are something he
would like to keep to himself for now. It does feel like reading a book with a missing
chapter, but it is okay, we do know that it was a happy trip- a good mix of
business and pleasure.
We know that a lot of IGs or reels, and the vlogs of other Star Magic artists have featured Donny and Belle quite a lot. We know because we have waited for those posts, too. Donny made sure to show us something new- something we have not seen from other vlogs. For one, we did not know that they were able to squeeze in some time at the golf course, or that they went to Target twice. For this, we are tickled pink, and we feel special enough for Donny to carefully curate the content for us.
We hope
that this is the start of more updates for Donato Productions. We missed it so
for more than a year. What a splash! It featured Belle and a US tour. Donny
sure knows how to make a come-back.
Lastly, much has been said about the vlog, we did notice a lot of things. Suffice it to say, that these Bubblies are happy with what they have watched and picked up on certain things about Donny and Belle. I also noticed Gigi teasing Donny with a song...did you catch that? Did you hear what the word was? You know how it is like when friends are together. They always tease you about your crush (ehem... slam book)
