Sometime yesterday, the fandom was shaken by a slam book that was supposedly filled up by Donny and Belle as part . Let us see what was revealed in that slam book in relation to both of them.
Names: First stop, we have been talking about how
their names are both old fashioned- Belinda and Donato or Hispanic sounding.
Air Signs Both: For those interested in Western Astrology,
both Donny and Belle are air signs. Donny is Aquarius while Belle is Gemini. (Western
Astrology has grouped the zodiacs using the elements- Fire, Air, Water, and
Land). That means that at the very least, they are compatible.
Last Movie Watched: They both answered “Spiderhead.” Same movie,
could it be at the same time, too? Initially, we thought they watched this in a
movie house (Hello, Shang!). Not only that, we thought it is related to
Spiderman. But a fellow Bubbly, posted that it is a Netflix exclusive. So, it raised more questions. Did they watch
together? Where? Whose place? Or did they just watch at the same time, but
remotely? Could it be for research for their next project? Could it be for R
and R?
Role Model: Donny included both sets of parents, while
Belle said Mom. Nevertheless, it is related as they point to the parentals as
their role model. We know that both are close to their families, and this answer
should not come as a surprise.
Same Palate: Though Belinda mentioned she likes Fil
cuisine, take note that they have both been consistently saying they like
Japanese Food. This is a good way to bond-eating ones favorite food. Similar
food taste is a good starting point for bonding, to easily order food when
together, or to think of a restaurant for lunch or dinner instead of having a
hard time trying to figure our whose cravings to give in to this time. No
debate here for Donny and Belle.
Vacay: They both said they like vacationing on a
beach. And they did mention doing Scuba diving together and Donny did share a
pic of Belle in diving gear in his Insta bday greeting to her.
Last Beach Vacay: Those were the cutest answers. Donny gave the
place. Belle, on the one hand, answered when. Some Bubblies, have been poking
fun and trying to say that if you connect the dots, did they go to Batangas two
months ago…On the eve of the All Star Games, Donny did a Kumu Live and they
seem to be on a beachfront somewhere. Could this be the one they are referring
to? The one where they were with Joao?
First TV Exposure: They both had a run as commercial models
before they entered showbiz as actors. Belle is a part of Bear Brand and Donny
appears in Koko Krunch with his mom. Yes, both are breakfast themed if you
must.
Favorite Colors: It is obvious with the clothes they usually
wear on casual days-not the ones prepared by their stylist. They both like neutral
colors. Not the same color, but they belong to neutrals. While Donny likes
black, the absence of all colors, Belle is into white, the presence of all
colors. You’d say opposites; we say complimentary.
US Travel: This maybe Donny’s nth time going to the US while Belle’s first. I think this will still be memorable since it is Donny’s first for work, nonetheless. This is also a good combo. Donny can be there to tour Belle around. Donny may now be considering how to fill all those in-between moments that they can use to do some R and R.
The Exciting Part: The highlight of the slam book, though, is
Donny’s answer to the question, “Who is your crush?” He just wrote “Belle” as
simple as that. And you can imagine the cheers that erupted in different
corners of the archipelago. Everyone just had to reminisce at how they already
can tell that Donny has a crush on Belle from him saying her eyes are nice, she
is pretty and stuff like that. It even trended spontaneously with the tag “CRUSH
NI DONNY SI BELLE”. It went to number 1 in 20 minutes. That was how excited Bubblies
were. It was just a time of jubilation for everyone. We usually hear him say
his crush is Ariana Grande or Emma Watson. This is the first time he gave a
name of a Filipina, and someone we know, at that. Just like that, Twitter was
abuzz. More questions were raised. When did he first have a crush on her? Was
this the first time he admitted it to all of us? Couldn’t we tell by how he
looks at her, or how he smiles when she is in view? Ah… I am sure you remember
the exact moment when you realized that this happened, that he tacitly admitted
an admiration for our best girl. Oh, calm your hearts. Remember that to have a
crush on someone means to admire that person. We all know he does admire her
for her acting and singing skills. That much we know and maybe one day Donny
will share the extent of that crush, that admiration.
And just like that Twitter saw a flurry of Bubblies and Solids rejoicing, asking questions, weighing in on Donny's crush that it reach the summit of Philippine Trends in 20 minutes! It even reached number 26 in the World Trend Listz. That was how excited Bubblies and Solids were.

Ginalaw na ni Donny ang baso, are there still any doubters out there?
The Slam Book has always been source of juicy talk even in our own small world of school for some of us. We always look at the things that will point to compatibility of two people, the things that matter to them and most specially the different crushes of everyone in that small circle. This slam book is giving something to think about in the next few days, at least.
