Belle Mariano: The Journey of a Child Actress Turned Gen Z Icon.

Belle Mariano was a familiar face to loyal Kapamilya viewers even before her stardom. She began her career as a commercial model at the age of nine before she became a regular cast member in the well-known kid-oriented comedy show, “Goin' Bulilit” from 2012 until her graduation in 2015. After leaving the show, she continued to build her career by appearing in iconic TV series on the network.

She was featured opposite Zaijan Jaranilla in Lorenzo’s Time on July 2012. Before gaining widespread recognition as Maxpein del Valle in the 2021 hit series “He's Into Her”, Belle played the role of Rachel Tuazon in “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano” (2016) followed by numerous appearances in the longest-running drama anthology, “ Maalaala Mo Kaya.” She also appeared in several films, including “Can't Help Falling in Love” on March 2017  and “Love You to the Stars and Back” on August 2017 which paved the way for her first leading role as the young Gabbie Salazar on “Four Sisters Before the Wedding” (2020).

She also played a cameo role in the movie, “James, Pat, and Dave” within that same year. In 2021, she was paired opposite Donny Pangilinan in “Love is Color Blind”. In 2022, Belle made history as the first Filipina to win an Outstanding Asian Star award at the Seoul International Drama Awards, a testament to her growing international acclaim. In the latter part of 2022, she was once again given a movie entitled “An Inconvenient Love”.  In the teleserye world, she was given meaty roles in two hit TV series, “Can”t Buy Me Love” and “How to Spot a Red Flag.” She also went viral with her guest appearance as Takako Rai in Incognito.

But she is more than just an actress as she continues to make waves in the OPM scene.

Her debut concert, “Daylight: A Belle Mariano Digital Concert” (2022), was a major success with SVIP and VIP tickets completely sold out just within minutes and ticket sales surpassing ₱ 500,000. She followed this with two successful sold-out concerts: “Beloved” at the New Frontier Theater (2023) and “Believe” at the Solaire Theater (2024).

Her works have also been recognized with multiple awards, including some from the 35th Awit Awards as PPOP New Female Artist of the Year, Favorite Song with her Single "Sigurado" and Breakthrough Artist both at the 35th Awit Awards and 7th PPOP Awards in 2022. Lest one forgets, Belle together with Donny has been the recipient of a star in the Eastwood Walk of Fame in 2024.

Belle's journey to success wasn't built on luck instead, it was a result of years of hard work, perseverance, and overcoming doubts. Her experiences ranging from setbacks to triumphs and criticisms to praise have shaped her into the inspiring woman that she is today. Her story serves as a powerful message that with dedication, patience, and faith, nothing can stop you from reaching your dreams.
