We have seen some snaps of them going to church every Sunday or joining in on the different Church activities. We do know that they give importance to their relationship with God and mentions it from time to time. Donny and Belle’s witnessing does not just happen on days that we are obliged to devote to God. They have after all showed us that they can do so even at the recent Star Magical Prom.
1. On a night of glitz and glamor, on a day when they were quite busy with other things aside from preparing for the prom, we still see them find a moment to pray. A vid and some pics of Donny praying with Edward while they wait to be announced on the ivory carpet did make the rounds in soc med. Some even praised them saying that they are being showered with blessings because of being prayerful. Let us also look at some things that DonBelle reminds us in this scene.
a. God is omnipresent. We don’t need to go to places of worship in order to pray. True, there are places that are naturally conducive to a prayerful stance. But always looking for the perfect place to bow down and pray can also prevent us from doing so. God is omnipresent and will meet you wherever you are. A few minutes or even seconds of prayer can be done in different places. It can be done in the midst of the flurry of a busy day. When all around us a buzzing with activity, we can always find a few moments to reconnect with God and tell them how we feel and ask for guidance. Some people would listen to meditative music while driving through heavy traffic or while falling in line on the bus station. Prayer does not always have to be complicated. We just need to start.
b. Prayer can be communal. While we do have our personal prayers, while we do have things we only want God to hear, communal prayer can be a relief. At times when we share the same anxiety and burden as the others, we can always pray together aside from praying for one another. This is what Donny, Belle, and Edward just did. They prayed together, with each other, and for one another.

2. “I learned to believe that God’s plan will fall accordingly.” – Belle’s message to the Seniors of the Star Magic Prom.
We are all inspired by Belle’s story. From coaxing her parents to let her try showbiz to persevering as a young girl to get into a commercial after almost 100 auditions, to staying in the industry playing bit roles here and there, to landing her own TV series that has led to her smashing success, supporters are simply inspired by her single heartedness in pursuing her dreams. In her Star Magical Prom speech she did not only underscore the attributes that went with a story like hers but most importantly how she sees the hands of God in everything. This is an eye opener that says nothing in life is an accident. God has a plan, and it will all fall into place. It is a testament that everything happens for a reason and that we are not alone. In all those trials and challenges, God is there to help and guide. In all those success, they do not happen out of sheer luck or your hard work only. They happened because God has a plan for you.

Being God centered is probably one thing that sets both of them apart from the other love teams. They are living witnesses to God’s love and generosity, and that makes them doubly inspiring.
