It is always a cause for celebration when something gets to the top! But let us document this victory as it is extra sweet for Bubblies and Solids and even Donny and Belle.
Consistently on Top
This is the third time a DonBelle project lands at the top of the Netflix
chart. "He’s Into Her" lorded it over the streaming app for a
considerable amount of time in 2021. "Love is Color Blind", on the
one hand, is the first Philippine movie to have topped both the movie and the
overall category. When Netflix signed up to stream "An Inconvenient Love",
I think they may have had great expectations. All I can say is that it seems
projects by Donny and Belle on Netflix are consistent. They do get to the first
spot on their first week. There is demand for their works.
Curiouser and
Curiouser
As we have
been looking at the top searches recently, one can see that there seems to be
an interest on their other projects. All three of the aforementioned works are
in the top ten of the Netflix search. It is safe to say that these days, there
seems to be a curiosity on what these two can do. It could be that CVs have
been on the look-out for other movies/series that they can consume. This is normal.
Once one likes something that they have seen, they will want to know what other
projects are there and decide if they are truly worth watching and even supporting.

Busy Bees -Bubblies
and Solids
Not that we
are doubting their number of followers, or the beauty of the film. We have no
doubt that Bubblies and Solids are excited to stream. Most of us even did so
when the clock struck 12 midnight signaling the start of Feb 23, 2023. Abangers
is real! The supporters are busy voting for VPCA where there are nine
nominations that we are focused on at the moment. With all the stress and
efforts that go with the voting, we still managed to make it to the top, and I
think aside from multitasking supporters, the CVs also helped a lot.
CVs Reaction
It is
overwhelming to see the reaction of those who were able to watch "An
Inconvenient Love" who are not really part of the fandom. For Bubblies and
Solids to appreciate the movie’s merits plus Donny and Belle’s chemistry and
acting is something special. They have discovered the talents of Donny and
Belle and now understand why Bubblies and Solids are so into them. To be
recognized by those who are not yet smitten by their charms is another level.

This feat of getting to number
one is, indeed, special. The challenges have been quite considerable that the
glee of An Inconvenient Love being at the top is a great feeling. It even feels
like we are all a part of it being number one. We are all in this together!
