A Peek into the Past
Belle shares
how it was a journey that is not always glam and happiness. She starts off by
laying out an innermost sentiment as she lets everyone know that she did go
through ups and downs. Some may be well-known to us while others may be
struggles behind closed doors, but it is refreshing to note that she does not
highlight those lows, but would just like us to know that we may see the
glamour and the triumphs, but there are challenges and struggles that had to be
crossed to get there. Despite all these, the silver lining is that she learned
from the experiences-good or bad, plus she has the support of Donny as the
partner and the fans who made everything worth it.
Donny’s
throwback led us to his acknowledgment of German Moreno’s pivotal role in her
mother’s career. Kuya Germs, as he was popularly called, took Ms. Maricel Laxa
under his wing as a co-host alongside Jackie Lou Blanco, Sharon Cuneta,
Gretchen Barretto, Lani Mercado, among others, in a Sunday noon time show GMA
Super Show. This break paved the way for his mom’s career and probably as a
chain reaction, his as well, many years down the line.
Coherence
and Connection
If you listen
to their speeches, you’d see the connection. They split the messaging, making
their speeches flow naturally and avoids repetition except for thanking the
supporters. For one, Belle talked about the journey and what she is thankful
for namely Donny and the fans. Donny for his part, thanked PMPC, their families
and workmates. He promised to continue to do stuff to inspire and make the
supporters happy. It was teamwork, so to speak, and instead of listening to two
speeches from two different people, we actually got a coherent one from a love
team. I don’t know if they planned this or talked about it in advance, or if
this is just their synchronicity at work.
The First
Donny mentions how this is the first awards night they had together. It was nice to see them looking posh and glammed up. They do look so good together. Belle is a vision in her gown, and Donny looks dapper in his suit. There will surely be more in the years to come.
Supporters
It looks like
the Bubblies and Solids came in full force with their lungs at the ready to
make some noise for the two. They seem to be the only one with a battalion
present and rightfully so. Donny and Belle both mentioned their supporters.
This showed that they recognize how the fans had been there for both of them in
their journey.
Bubblies are proud to
know that DonBelle’s team up is getting recognition, and we are all looking
forward for more.
