Can't Buy Me Love- Questions about the Teleserye

Everyone is excited about DonBelle’s next project. This means we will be seeing them five times a week and hopefully, during prime time. We also have the title which is “Can’t Buy Me Love”. From the title, we know that love will be part of the story, of course. Buy is implying that there will be some sort of business transaction. There are more questions at this point. Here are some of them:

  1. Whose idea is it to buy/sell love?
  2. Who buys from whom?
  3. How much is the transaction fee?
  4. Why will a person have to buy affection? Is he or she undesirable? Does he or she want to silence questions about sexuality?
  5. Why will someone sell affection?
  6. What problems is he/she facing to consider such a deal?
  7. How did the transaction transpire?
  8. We know they will end up finding love in each other’s arms, but how will that happen?
  9. How will the other cast contribute to the story?
  10. What is the setting?
  11. What circumstances will lead to the situations in their story?
  12.  Is it similar to the 1987 movie of the same title?

 

Here are also some practical questions that every Bubbly must be pondering about:

  1. What time slot will be given to this DonBelle teleserye?
  2. What month of the year will this start?
  3. Who will be in the list of cast of characters?
  4. Who will direct this teleserye?
  5. Who will write it?
  6. Where will they tape the scenes this time?
  7. Who will be the other casts who will join them in this teleserye?
  8. What is the setting?

 

There are, indeed, so many questions. We are all excited and curious at the same time. They said it will be out by the first quarter of 2023, so this means the waiting game is from January to March. If this is so, that also means that after the holidays are over, they will go straight to another lock-in taping. Donny and Belle will again be busy in the next days to come. So many things are still uncertain, but there are things we are also sure of. We will witness DonBelle’s chemistry, and the kilig will surely overflow and on five times a week this time. We will fall in love with them all over again. We also know that they will work hard to make sure that they will portray their roles well. For now, we are happily waiting for it to be available and Donny and Belle will be awesome!
