Impressions about An Inconvenient Love

After the block screening yesterday at Fisher Mall, here are some thoughts without spoiling anything:

        1. Belle and Donny are quite the eye-candy.

There is no denying that they never lacked in the looks department, but it is quite refreshing to see them on screen. The camera is good to them, and as the camera zooms in on their faces, the audience can’t help but gasp and say, “ang gwapo” or “ang ganda”

2. Learnings from a Rom-Com

The movie has lessons to impart albeit not in depth but enough to make you think and open discussions about the issues for people. There is something for everyone. You can find warning to parents, discovering love, and even social issues that hopefully, can help people figure things out.

3. Science at Work

Chemistry, chemistry, chemistry…but we know this already. That was really one of the reasons why most of us are drawn to them. That their chemistry is palpable is already an understatement.

        4. Sans the Sugar Coating:

The movie is a Rom-Com, and most rom- coms try to sugarcoat love and relationships a bit. In “An Inconvenient Love,” we see the characters learn about love and go through its highs and lows while trying to figure out their own lives. It is quite refreshing in a way. Let us hope that this helps people get to understand love on a deeper level.

5. The Soundtrack:

We all know about the songs already, so we can mention them already. A song maketh a scene or even breaks it. The songs are well-appointed, and they really build the scene. The theater was singing along with Bini and BGYO. They are even grooving to “Tumitigil Ang Mundo.” It was quite fun.

Until everyone has seen the movie, we are not going to write anything that will spoil it for others who still would like to see it. For now, this listicle will do.  Don’t be the last one to witness the lives of Manny and Ayef intersect.
