Her Favorite Luxury Items

Admittedly, Belle herself admitted that she is new to owning and using luxury brands. When you work as hard, you would want to give yourself a reward or two from time to time, and judging from all the things that she has been doing-a concert in January, a hit series shown in April but taped from Feb to March, endorsements in between, A US tour, and more endorsements, we can say well deserved! ­­­­­­

What are the stuff she showed in the vid? Here they are in order of appearance in the vid:

  1. The YSL College Medium Shoulder Bag
  2. Le Chiquito Jacquemus Bag
  3. Saddle Bag Blue Dior Oblique Jacquard
  4. Mixed Fine Bead Chain Bracelet Gold/Silver
  5. Dway Slides by Dior

 We have seen her use 4 out of five of these things already (from 1 to 4). The slides are a new addition. This is the first time she will talk about each item, though. Let us try to see what her stories reveal about her.

Practical Girl:

If you noticed, most of her pieces are in neutral colors. Showing us that she wants to make sure that her purchases are worth the bucks. She will make sure that they can be used in different outfits and colors. She pointed out that the Dior Saddle Bag can be used in various situations and to be matched with different colors. This is a good choice. If you will spend major bucks on certain items, you have to make sure that it is frequently usable and goes well with anything in your closet than buying pieces that can only be used once or twice and would simply gather dust in the closet.




Sentimental Girl:

Two out of five are not direct purchases, at least based on Belle’s narrative. The YSL bag is a hand-me-down  from her mom. She does not hide the fact that she did not have the first piece as brand new. She relishes the fact that she can have something previously loved by her mom probably feeling like the bag has history shared between mother and
daughter.


The Jacquemus pink bag was a gift from her stylist, Adrienne Concepcion, for her 20th birthday. It is a good way to liven up an outfit especially if she is wearing neutrals all over. It is also cute and girly, reflecting her very youthful energy. She values gifts like these.



Sisterhood:

We all matched with our friends at some point, didn’t we? Since Belle is constantly with her glam team, Mama Jake and Ms. Adrienne are constants. Lately, they are constants while the hair stylist changes from time to time. From ads to guestings, Belle has her glam team with her, Mama Jake was even supposed to come to Korea with her to do her make up for the SDA award. With the long hours of the work Belle does, it is just normal for her to have formed a bond with her glam team. They have become more than workmates; they are probably her friends and confidantes. I remembered Son Ye Jin giving her make-up artist and hair stylist a solitaire diamond necklace each after CLOY. Belle, for her part, gave Mama Jake and Ms. Adrienne a Monica Vinader matching bracelets. They have matching jewelry.


Royal Watcher:

For those not familiar with Monica ViIander, it is UK-based jewelry brand liked by the Princess of Wales, the future Queen of UK herself, Catherine Middleton. I wonder if Belinda is a royal watcher herself, as she also seems be fond of polkadots clothes which is a part of the future queen’s staple and buying the same jewelry brand she does.

From Where or Whom

I noticed that she told us if the item is a gift or something she bought. One item she said she liked is the Dior Saddle bag, but she did not let us know if it was a gift, a hand me down or something she bought for herself. Just got curious because with the 4 out of 5 of the pieces she mentioned she told the viewers if she picked it herself and who gave it.

Dior Domination

Two out of five are Christian Dior stuff. Could she be taking a liking to the brand? She said she like the scent J’Adore which is also from Christian Dior. Note: she also mentioned that this is a gift from her stylist before when she showed the contents of her bag.

There will be more luxury items in Belle’s closet in the years to come, and we will be excited to see what she picks and what will be gifted to her by those she holds dear.
