It seems that there are other options to watch HIH All Access. There is a chance to physically be in the Big Dome to witness the event. Just last night, Aug 12, in Bearkada Hangover, a KTX screening will be available online. This presents a dilemma for some, but maybe we can try to discuss this as much as we can.

Pros of
Watching Live
The energy
of a live performance does not always jump across the screens. The lights, the
sounds simply make the performance larger than life. The acoustics in the Big
Dome is also quite good. In fact, for its size, the sound is quite wonderful.
It is also another chance to see Donny and Belle in the flesh especially if you
have not seen them in the mall shows and in the All Star Games, now is your
chance. Quite honestly though, is it ever enough? Even if you have seen them
already, you are probably just craving for more. The greatest pro would definitely
be some sidelines that the official camera may not be able to pick up. You can
be privy to that if you are there live. Remember the Sports Fest? There were
many goings on that the official cam missed because they were focused on the
game. In this case, the camera will be focused on the performance. Some stuff a
Bubbly wants to see will not be covered. We want to see DonBelle moments live.
Araneta has quite a good layout that despite being not so near the stage, you
can still see it from a good vantage point. It is an additional treat to be
able to meet with fellow Bubblies we have been interacting with in the
community. You might have seen them in other places, but of course, we always
like to bond with friends. It is also a good idea to be beside fellow Bubblies
while swooning and screaming our hearts out. That would increase the excitement
and enhance the experience.
Cons of
Watching Live
The cost of
the ticket might be a bit prohibitive to some. Aside from the ticket, you need
to factor in the transpo cost and the snacks/dinner you might need to have
while you are there. Once inside Araneta, you cannot go out anymore, and you
cannot bring in food. Your choices are limited by the ones sold inside the
coliseum. It might be difficult to go home, as well, if you are not so near
Cubao. Since the show starts at 8pm, it might end quite late, so you need to consider
these all. Some even booked hotels just to be able to fully enjoy the
experience without transpo problems or the dangers of travelling late at night.
There will be a huge crowd, and there are still some problems with that
especially with health scares lately. It is also a con that that the available
seats are already far from the stage (hello vvip, vip selling out fast!)
Pros of Watching Online:
Since we
are still not over the dangers of the pandemic, watching online is quite a good
option. Not to mention, the only cost will be the ticket and not the transpo or
the outside dining needed. You can even eat your snacks of choice because in
Araneta your choices are limited. You can also scream and gush to your heart’s
content not minding if someone sees you and stuff cause you are simply at home.
This is also good news for people who are in places really far from QC where
Araneta is situated. Some are even in foreign lands.
You might
miss some moments. Your pov is limited by the camera that will be focused on
the performance and not the sidelights you might be hoping to see. There is
also the issue of the internet. You might be able to watch online, but there
might be some lag time or so when a lot of people are accessing the same thing
at the same time. Not to mention, the reliability of your own connection or for
some, electricity problems. Lastly, you might be all alone when you watch. You
cannot share the kilig with a fellow Bubbly.
Here is the
thing. Being able to mount a show in Araneta is not an easy feat, and it is not
for every artist. The mere fact that Donny and Belle head a group of performers
in Araneta for a concert to mark the end of the season for a show they have
been working on is significant. In case you have not noticed, not all shows are
given this opportunity. We hope we can support them with our physical presence.
We also do not know when is the next chance to see them live. After this, we
won’t be able to see them in a while as they will be in a lock-in for the
movie. It is fun to wave the sintra boards, and to see fellow Bubblies with Led
lights spelling DonBelle, Donny, or Belle is quite a goosebump moment. More
than seeing your favorites perform live. Being physically present
If you are
far away from the Philippines or the Big Dome, the online streaming is a good deal,
but if you can physically go, the experience is something that you will take
with you for quite some time. It is a tale that you will not only remember, but
will also cherish and talk about to friends, family and even your future
generation. The paraphernalia being prepared is surely going to be a feast for
the eyes. And who knows there might be some huge huge announcement that will
reverberate in the walls of the big dome? You just want to be a part of people
inside the coliseum.
