We all know it is Belle’s first time in the US. Everything will be memorable. Everything will be wonderful. As they say, trips can reveal more about a person. It does reveal different sides to Belle or should we say, affirm things we already know about.
Her evolving sense of style: We’ve seen what she packed in her suitcase to the US and think she is killing it. She has been wearing mostly neutrals and the styles mostly shows off her physique- a product of her discipline in dieting and in working out. There were some pop of color like that orange tank top she wore in meeting the fans and the blue flowery dress she wore in SF while going around Pier 39, Target, Twin Peaks, and Golden Gate Bridge.
Simple Joys:
She could have shown a pic of her New York purchases. We did see her with a
shopping bag from Christian Dior after on outing, but this revelation is from a
fancam. Belle, however, chose to post her glee in being able to go to Target
and buy stuff from there for the first time. You just got to appreciate her
simplicity.
Generous and Kindhearted
B: Mr. Eric Nicolas, who has been giving us glimpses of DonBelle on the airport and the plane, among others, has posted the video of
Belle sharing her candy with him while saying “Mabait naman nito”. We see a
generous Belle trying to offer what she has while they are waiting for
something or someone and are still inside the airport premises.
Consistency: She is happy for her nomination in the Seoul International Drama Awards 2022. She is telling (at 5:31) us once again how she loves receiving them. I remembered she mentioned this when thanking the fans for their hard work in voting for Donny and her in Nylon’s Big Bold Brave Awards. It is good to know that she is consistent with her messaging. It also sends the signal that she knows what she wants and admits it. And again, there is no false humility or modesty here.
She
Remembers: There are at least two accounts that actually tell us they’ve met
before. The first one is Mami Bang who had a chance to see Donny and her when
Mami Bang went on a vacation to the Phil last summer. Along with Donny, they
called out to her once they saw her walking into the lobby of the hotel fresh
from her flight. The second one is Tita Ella who has been among the attendees of her surprise party in June. She flew in
from Florida to attend the NYC show; Belle recognized her and chatted with her
when they chanced upon her at the hotel lobby. It may not be you nor me who had
the privilege to be remembered chatted or greeted, but truth be told,
these are just very wonderful things that add up to DonBelle being really
wonderful people. This is proof of how they value their fans.
The Energizer
Bunny: We’ve seen how she never seems to run out of energy while going around
on foot and later going on stage. It seems she is at home entertaining people
and meeting them. No down time for this girl. We saw this in the Philippines
and now we saw this as she sets foot on the iWantTFC float going around streets
of SanFo under the heat of the sun. She was dancing at some point. Sitting
down, going around the float, waving, she does look like her batt never runs
out. We see her talking to those with them or looking around. It looks like she
was really born to be a star, an entertainer, the center of the spotlight. Here some links that will show vids of Belle during the parade:

We are just so happy to
see them roaming the streets of NY and SF. Never mind that we have been sleepy
or dizzy in our jobs because our bodies are in Manila but our spirit
is whatever part of the US these two are. They look happy and the pics and vids
make our heart joyful, as well. And this being a first for both, here is to
more trips abroad together.
