As Donny said in that sit down interview with
Iwant ASAP last Sunday after Belle’s birthday prod, this is Belle’s month, not
just her week. We will like to talk about her work and hopefully get others to
enjoy her, as well.
Here is Belle Mariano’s first recorded song launched in April 2021. It was a part of Kumu Summer Album and co-produced by Direk Cathy Molina’s Nickl Entertainment. Direk Cathy was profuse in her praise as she noted that Belle came ready with her notes on the music sheets and also arrived on time. To top it all, she did the recording of “Kung Ako Na Lang” in one take which pleased the people working with her. DJ Jai Ho noted that the only other person she knows who have done such a feat was Leah Salonga.
The youthful vibe of this song is really very fitting for Belle, and the message is also relatable to young fans. The song speaks of unrequited love common to what youngsters go through.
